Calla lily prefers bright indirect light and warm climates. Avoid the prolonged exposure which can burn the leaves. If you have hot Summer weather then you might do better in a spot with partial shade.

You can water the plants once or twice a week depending on the environment. Lilies are sensitive to overly wet soil and can develop stem and bulb rot if the soil does not drain well. Generally don’t need a lot of water, so only water if required. When the top inch of soil feels dry is typically sufficient. Water to a depth of about 6-7 inches.

Calla lilies need well-drained, loam soil, rich in organic matter with pH 6.0-6.5. The mix soil contains two parts peat moss, one part perlite, and one part coarse sand.
