Under-watering

Another problem is underwatering, it can causes of brown leaves . This plant needs water when the soil is dry. But soil is very dry then underwatering is likely the problem. Keep in mind that if water is not given for a long time, the roots of the plant will dry up. So understanding the under-watering problem, if you water it every day, the problem will not be solved.

To avoid this problem, water the plants for several hours and try checking the roots to ensure they are still healthy.

Overwatering

The brown leaves that indicate your plant is being over watering. If the Dragon plant receives too much water, its leaves look droopy and brown . Water is added to the soil when the plant is already waterlogged. The roots will rot and Dragon plant can’t survive for long in saturated soil. If your plant’s roots begin to rot, the water and nutrients needed by the plant to survive will not reach the plant’s leaves.

This causes the leaves to shrivel up to retain water. To avoid these problems, you should place the plant in a place where the drainage hole will be good so that even if you overwater, the excess water will escape through that hole.

Pests

Another common problem is pest attacks like spider mites, mealybugs are pesticides. It is important when applying the pesticides, to carefully read the instructions on the pesticide packets and only apply the infected area. Dragon plant gets too much pesticide by mistake then the plant will be damaged and turned into yellow colour.

Do not use a spray of soapy water to wipe the leaves of the plant. Wipe gently with alcohol in a soft cloth. This way we get rid of this pest and disease.

Lack of humidity

Another reason is low humidity that your plant’s leaves turning brown, one solution for all reasons is to give the plant more humidity. Use watering spray the leaves can help to improve humidity in the air. Dragon plant need humidity thrive so you can keep it in humid bathrooms or use a humidifier once a day.
