Shamrock plant prefers bright, indirect light. To be careful, don’t expose your plant to too much direct light during the Summer months as this may scorch the leaves. Another way, when your plant getting enough light it may become leggy. This plant also prefers partial shade of the majority of the day.

  • Oxalis Montana – Oxalis montana is a species of flowering plant in the family Oxalidaceae. Its stems and leaves have also been used to make tea. It prefers moist soil and partial shade.
  • Oxalis Deppei – Oxalis Deppei is also known as Iron cross oxalis. It thrives in bright indirect to bright direct light and water every 1-2 weeks allowing soil to dry between watering.
  • Oxalis Corniculata – Oxalis Corniculata is considered in many turf and garden areas. It grows best in spring or fall in warmer climates. This plant used in treatment of neurological disorders like epilepsy, depression, dementia and neurodegenerative maladies.

Repotting of Shamrock plant

Shamrock plant should be repotted once every year or two.This plant doesn’t require frequent repotting and plant growing out of a container requires repotting.Care should be taken when repotting that the soil of the plant is completely dry.

Keep your plant with proper care and wait a week before watering after repotting because a risk of root rot. Carefully remove the excess amount of soil from the root before placing this plant in a new container.
