The international Mother of Earth Day held on Monday,22nd April. This year’s world Earth day theme is Planet vs Plastic, because our world is facing a big problem because of this plastic use. The campaigners are calling for a 60% reduction in the production of plastics by 2040.
The World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2024 finds that environmental risks make up half of the top 10 risks over the next 10 years. A National Plastic Clean-Up Day would serve as a catalyst for these efforts, uniting communities in a shared mission to rid our country of plastic waste.
