The yellow leaves that indicate your plant is being over watering. If the Calathea plant receives too much water, its leaves look droopy and yellow. Water is added to the soil when the plant is already waterlogged. The roots will rot and Calathea can’t survive for long in saturated soil.
If your plant’s roots begin to rot, the water and nutrients needed by the plant to survive will not reach the plant’s leaves. This causes the leaves to shrivel up to retain water. To avoid these problems, you should place the plant in a place where the drainage hole will be good so that even if you overwater, the excess water will escape through that hole.
2. Under watering
