Cast Iron Plant Types
• Asahi Cast Iron Plant

Asahi means is Morning sun, this plant have evergreen leaves to 30 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is very low maintenance perennial plant. For the growing season, removing all old foliage regularly to retain the attractiveness of the clumps. This plant grows well in both moist and dry soil when the drainage is good. Its increase humidity when they grow well as an indoor plant. In winter season, it has amazing flowers, produce at the of base the foliage.
• Aspidistra caespitosa Cast Iron Plant

The Aspidistras tend to be fairly slow growing, which is why they tend to be a bit more expensive, but its this same characteristic that makes them such good pot plants or low maintenance ground covers in the garden.These plants thrive in low light, so give them a dim corner or north-facing window. It can grow up to three feet tall regularly appears of hard-to-kill houseplants and is perfect for homes, offices.
• Okame Cast Iron Plant

Okame plant is one of the oldest species and has dramatic and bold white, cream and green stripe leaves with different pattern. Its tall upto 30 inchs, growing for its theatrical statement. It easy to grow, slow-growing broadleaf evergreen perennial with variegated, white and green foliage and purple and cream flowers in spring. It contributes glossy texture to the garden.
• Singapore sling cast iron plant

Another variety of Cast iron plant is Singapore sling cast iron plant. It is a beautiful and robust indoor plant that belongs to the Aspidistra Yingjiangensis species. The stems, root or leaves could be used for treatment of diarrhoea, urinary stones, myalgia, abdominal cramps, traumatic injuries and amenorrhoea. It considered to be auspicious in the feng shui tradition.
• Snowcap wrought iron plant

It produces 30″ tall, wide evergreen leaves, topped on the upper half with a vivid white flush. This plant has great to brighten a dark spot in the woodland shade garden. • Hoshi Zora Cast Iron Plant

Hoshi Zora Cast Iron Plant is looking for a bold textured evergreen to help brighten a dark corner of the garden. It is low maintenance perennial plant.
