Some are toxic and require careful placement away from pets and children.

1. Victoria Gold Bell Croton

Croton plants can be planted in containers and kept indoors, it should be put in a location that receives significant exposure the sunlight.Victoria Gold Bell Croton needs 0.8 cups of water every 9 days when it doesn’t get direct sunlight and is potted in a 5.0″ pot. This plant propagate by stem cuttings.

2. Superstar Croton

This plant is one of the toxic and stunning cultivars of Croton variety. All part of the plant is toxic so keep them well out of reach of pets and children. It is native to the pacific islands. It needs 0.8 cup water every 9 days when it doesn’t get direct sunlight and potted in 5.0″ pot. This plant doesn’t tolerate low light.

3. Sunny Star Croton

Sunny Star Croton will slow its growth and requires fast draining soil succulents and potting soil with orchid bark.Place it less than one foot from a window to ensure it receives enough light to survive. This plant needs bright, indirect light.Moderate direct sunlight to avoid crispy leaves. Rotate and filter light for even growth and protection. It is also great for purifying the air in your home, helping to remove harmful toxins and pollutants. To keep it in a well-lit area and to water it regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.

Zanzibar Croton makes an excellent indoor plant. The croton plant originated in a tropical environment, so it favors a warm, humid environment. It should remain moist but not constantly wet during spring and summer when the plant is growing.

Simplify maintenance by covering the ground around the shrubs with a 2-inch-thick layer of shredded mulch to suppress weeds and prevent soil-moisture loss.Place your Croton in a room next to a bright, sunny window.The Croton does not like to be moved so it’s best to avoid moving the plant as much as possible to avoid leaf-loss.

Overexposure can cause fading and restrict proper foliage growth. For outdoor crotons, full or shifting sun is ideal.

Croton Mammy prefers for the soil to dry out between waterings and should be watered regularly. It has the best color in bright, indirect light. Croton does best in fertile, well-drained, moist soil. They need bright, indirect light when grown indoors. It doesn’t require additional humidity.

10. Andrew Croton

Andrew croton plant is an elegant and delicate looking. It has long leaves with wavy edges and it is not as flashy variety. This plant is variety of leaves shapes and designs with bright red, green, orange, pink colour.Keep the soil moist from spring to autumn, and provide some humidity by misting regularly or standing on a tray of moist pebbles.

Red Iceton croton plant requires the soil to be constantly moist, so when the top begins to feel dry, the plant needs to be watered again. Wipe leaves with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust. Do not use leaf shine as this will damage the foliage.

Indoor plants purify the air by absorbing harmful substances into their leaves and roots. The flowers of picasso’s paintbrush are edible, and were consumed in moderation by various Native American tribes as a condiment with other fresh greens. 

13. Eleanor Roosevelt Croton

Eleanor roosevelt croton needs plenty of bright light, a consistently warm spot and high humidity. They can take some direct sunshine but keep them away from direct midday sun.Crotons value a liberal measure of humidity. Crotons have high water needs on account of their high happening rate. 

14. Croton Magnificent

Croton magnificent prefers plenty of light. To receive about 4 to 6 hours of bright, indirect light per day.Keep the soil moist at all times from spring to autumn. Use tepid water and make sure any excess has drained away.If your winters are mild enough to plant croton in the landscape, you can grow it outdoors. 

15. Florida Select Croton

Florida select croton is a reasonable , easy to care plant.This shrub is moderately drought-tolerant once established, though it does best with regular irrigation schedule that gives it time to dry out between waterings. It will do best at temperatures of 80℉ or below, as the plant will not thrive in extreme heat. 

16. Norma Croton

Codiaeum variegatum is known as Norma croton, the tough, glossy foliage typical of its genus. It can grow up to three metres high and its natural environment. It has white latex with an irritating and toxic substance.All parts of the Croton are poisonous, including the leaves, stems, roots, and blossoms. The sap is especially dangerous because it may cause skin rashes.

19. Bush on fire Croton

One of the stunning cultivars is Bush on fire croton. It requires  frequent watering, but be sure not to over-water. Too much water can cause root rot, but too little water can dry the humidity-loving plant out. That grows up to 10 feet tall but those offered as houseplants are usually much smaller than the wild plant.
