How to Care Anthurium

Anthurium plants, also known as flamingo flowers, are tropical plants with vibrant red, green, and white blooms. They require specific care to thrive, such as high nitrogen fertilizer, 50 percent soil wetness, and temperatures between 75° and 85° Fahrenheit. They prefer well-drained soil with a pH of 5.5 to 6.5 and partial light. Proper care can extend their indoor lifespan to about 5 years, and propagation can provide a steady supply of healthy plants. Overwatering or underwatering, direct sunlight, pests, and low temperature and humidity can harm the plant.
